Questions of ownership, sharing, and responsibility as manifested in relation to the public space on the internet are among the issues debated by the participants at the event which takes place on the 20th of July as part of the project Spaţiul Public Bucureşti | Public Art Bucharest 2007. The occasion for this event is the launching of the official website of the project, www.spatiul-public.ro, which documents and informs on the overall project and at the same time constitutes itself in a platform which can be used for a contextualization of the project.

The launching takes place at the headquarters of the Order of Architects in Romania, starting with 18:00 and is structured in three parts. Media theorists and activists Florian Schneider and Joanne Richardson will create a theoretical framework with short presentations, followed by an open conversation, on ideas revolving around the notion of property, whereas in the second part of the evening the Romanian situation of the digital public space will be analysed and discussed together with Dana Catona, Valentin Panduru, Rariţa Szakáts and István Szakáts. The event will conclude with an interactive multimedia performance designed by artists Dilmana Iordanova & Mihaela Kavdanska and performed together with Matze [Cristian Stanciu] and Tim Wolff. This composition, called NTERVINO. AV Urban Explorer is a structure open to the public, who are offered a virtual visual and sound-scape of the city, with the invitation to interfere with it.

The programme of the evening is as follows:
